Steve teaches Mathematics and is responsible for developing and presenting staff professional development opportunities that examine and employ the effective uses of emerging digital technologies in the classroom. Specific area of interest is developing student personal learning networks through blended learning, collaborative learning and asynchronous learning opportunities.

BREAKOUT SESSION 2 – Tools that support 24/7 learning
Target audience Yr 7-12

This session will focus on the how and why of providing students with asynchronous and/or visible learning opportunities. Focus will be on using tools such as O365 Video, Office Mix, Snip and Screencast-o-matic to create resources that support a 24/7 learning environment.  O365 is the environment in which the practices and workflows were developed and refined but the key focus is developing opportunities, utilising effective digital technologies, that enhance the teaching and learning experience.
