Mark currently works at Emmanuel College and has been teaching there for around 14 years. He started out as a music specialist teacher, who moved into Primary teaching. Along-side his love of teaching in the classroom, Mark has held several positions of added responsibility including Director of Teaching & Learning, Dean of Year 6 and eLearning Coordinator. These roles have given him opportunity to develop many skills and widen the scope of his expertise. Mark is currently in the role of Head of eLearning for Prep to Year 12, and the STEM Coordinator. These roles have afforded the opportunity to be involved with the strategic and future planning of technology integration at Emmanuel, while also training and mentoring the staff and students to use technology to bring a greater degree of innovation into the classroom. This year he has also been involved working with Microsoft as an Innovative Expert Educator. Mark has a drive for innovation and creativity. He loves exploring models of flipped classrooms, collaboration and bringing as much engagement as possible to ensure that learning is always fun!

OneNote also has a fantastic Class Notebooks feature that allows you to create a book to share with your class, with a collaboration space, a content library for your teaching content, and a personal workspace for each student (as well as a Teacher Only section for your own work and grading). This is a great tool that has been designed to help teachers save time and easily review your students’ work.
